I love all kinds of berries, so naturally when I thought of this recipe I knew instantly I would love it. One of the hardest things making smoothies was finding the right ingredients to pair with kale. Because it’s such a thick leafy green and doesn’t taste that great in my book, I wanted to pair different fruits as well as superfood with it to make amazing green smoothies.
Berries are among the healthiest foods you eat. They’re super delicious, packed with lots of antioxidants and they’re also high in fiber.
Overall, berries are deliciously bad ass food that’s good for you.
Berry Kale Green Smoothie.
2 Cups Fresh Kale
2 Cups Water
1 Cup Strawberries
1/2 Cup Blueberries
1/2 Cup Blackberries
1 tsp Honey, optional
** You can use frozen fruits.
Blend Kale and water together until kale is smooth. Next add fruit ingredients and blend again. If you add honey to yours, you can blend honey in afterwards.
