Let’s just face the facts sometime we all want a midnight snack.
Sadly sometimes those midnight snacks don’t really do us any good other than satisfying our taste buds. I confess I too crave food at night especially during the week after a long day of work. Sometimes I just want something sweet and tasty without worrying about what my weight gain will be.
So what can you eat?
After a long day and skipping out on dinner I wanted something good to eat but refused to order junk food but I also didn’t want to cook. After browsing through our fridge I saw that we had some mango salsa leftovers so I grab a bowl and figured why not.
My taste buds immediately exploded. Tasty! Tangy! Refreshing! Sweet and savory! Instant foodgasm.
Who would have thought our 3 day old mango salsa would’ve have filled me up and satisfied my craving.
Needless to say it became my every night go to snack and as an added bonus, I realized that I was also losing weight.
After serving our mango salsa at an event everyone wanted to know what was in it, how they could make it and the responses we got back after that were amazing.
So, here’s my late night sweet and savory snack and I hope you like it too.
This mango salsa is great for those late night cravings and for when you’re having guests over.
