This is one of my favorite green smoothie. I know, I know. I say that for each one! Day 9

Lots of people are looking for ways to eat healthier and lose weight. For me green smoothies were just another smoothie but with leafy veggies. In some ways I guess it’s a great way to get your kids to eat more fruits and veggies and yourself as well.

Even though green smoothies are easy to make and can help you become more healthier a lot of people still have a hard time drink them because:

  1. It doesn’t taste good
  2. Others don’t know what to add in it.

Don’t worry it took me a few tries to come up with the perfect recipes, until you find your own here’s my latest green smoothie recipe. If you love carrot cake you’re going to love this!

Green smoothie recipe: Carrot Cake

Ingredients: 

2 cups spinach

2 cups almond milk

1 cup carrots, cooked

3 tbsp raisins

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 banana

 

Directions: 

Green Smoothie

Steam carrots for 5 mins until soft.

Blend cooked carrots, spinach and almond milk together until smooth. Next, add remaining ingredients and blend again.
